Overview
Manufactured in-house at Harco Ag Equipment, Big Jim Packers are designed to give you greater durability and feature adjustable frames up to 15’ models to permit exact matching of packer width to customer requirements. Our “DUCTILE WHEELS” are a top quality, thicker, heavier wheel which is a major improvement in reducing wheel breakage. For wider models, please inquire.
  • Match tillage or planting equipment with adjustable frame width ranging 9’ to 15’, and rigid frame on 3’ to 6’ and 16’ models.
  • Big Jim Packers are available in Red, Green, Blue and Orange frame colours.
  • They are available in a colour of your choice to match the other equipment on your farm.
  • Big Jim wheels are designed with heavy hubs and spokes, up to 12% heavier than competitive units.
  • 1 ¾” grade C1045 cold rolled gang shafts, greasable flangette style bearings and heavy-duty ductile iron end clamps.

Standard Equipment:

High Quality Ductile Wheels, centre bearing 9 feet and up, adjustable frame 9-15 feet, 3 year limited warranty on ductile packer wheels.

Single Gang Specifications (9-15 feet):

Tubular frame construction 3/16” wall tongue and centre tube, ¼” wall extension tubes, nine foot tongue length, ½” x 6” bearing hangers, bearing mounted in hanger for rock protection, bearing has a wide inner ring for more shaft contact, eccentric locking collar and duplex seal consisting of an oil-proof synthetic rubber seal and a steel slinger, greasable flangette, heavy duty ductile iron wheel retaining collar designed by HARCO, Grade 5 hardware, rear draw hitch.
BIG JIM exclusive telescopic frame allows dealer to tailor packer width in-house.

16 Foot Single Gang Packer Specifications:

4” x 4" x ¼” wall tubular construction, 11 foot tongue length, ½” x 6” bearing hangers, flat bar reinforced, bearings mount inside for rock protection, 2 centre bearing hangers, rear draw hitch.

Three Point Hitch Kit (In Service Packers)

Consists of: Lower link brackets, u-bolt mount, centre link post, rear tow hitch, all necessary mounting hardware and jack stand.

Does not include pins.
